When using the free text search bar to find relevant matches in EditMate WebUI, users are granted additional support for narrowing down on the desired result. In the example below, "fjord" was entered in the free text search bar (1). The repository contains multiple matches that differ based on their entity (object type) (2). In order to aid the user during their search, EditMate WebUI indicates the distinction between the object types. This is visible below the search bar; with one potential result a collection, the others being items.

When triggering a search by clicking on the arrow, users are made aware that a search is still running. This is indicated by the turning wheel revolving around the "Arrow" icon. Once the search is complete the wheel will no longer turn.
