Users with special rights are able designate specific permissions to user groups via this function. Having already selected the objects intended to be affected by the permission (1), clicking on the main menu's "Add Permission" option (2) will prompt a dedicated permissions window.

After specifying the user or user group (3,4), clicking on the permission dropdown will display all of the currently available permissions (5). The user is then able to choose between applying a specific permission to the objects.
The purpose behind adding permissions to specific objects is to constrain the functional options over a specific object. It is considerably more granular than the default EditMate right's model, but can be useful when deeming certain objects as particularly sensitive.
