Storage Configuration Multilocation [ENT 20.2 OG]
Certain context systems require the management of multiple storages and how individual storages are assigned to specific location groups.
Editors working at a particular studio may want to automatically publish their sequences to a storage assigned to their particular studio. This way, storages can be dedicated based on a defined location.
Multilocation Availability
It is important to note that the Use Cases in which the storage assignment can be made is particular to existing EditMate’s Use Case Pages.
If the multilocation feature is available the for the Use Case Page it must first be enabled in that particular Page.
Please note that individual storages and their availability are configured as a global element in ConfigPortal.

Use Case Based Storage Assignment
In order to specify a storage and location relationship, the Multilocation option must first be available on the EditMate Use Case Page. In this example, the Publish Use Case Page offers the Multilocation configuration option.
Once open, the option must be enabled (1). Doing so will provide the user the option to select the location (2) and storage (3). In this example, previously configured “Cologne” and “New York” locations were selected. Both of locations also have dedicated publish storage, “Col” and “NY”.
It is important to note that both the location and the storage are global configurations performed in their respective Global Configuration Pages.
